The TEA Advocacy Boot Camp is a great day event for members to sharpen their advocacy skills. There are two all-day tracks to choose from: PECCA Conferencing or Racial and Social Justice. Members can choose the one track that most interests them. The event is free to all members, and lunch is included! The next Advocacy Boot Camp will take place Saturday, Feb. 29, 2020, at the Jackson-Madison Library, at 433 E. Lafayette St., Jackson, TN 38301. REGISTER HERE!

 
 
 

Events for 2019-10-12

October 12, 2019 - 9:00am to 2:00pm

The TEA Political Academy is a free one-day training to help set the stage for a successful 2020 election year. Offered by TEA leadership and the staff of Government Relations, the training is designed as a fun and informative day of organizing for political power. There are two tracks: Building Political Power of Local Associations, and Individual Candidate Training to Win Elections.  The training is free, just SIGN UP to reserve a spot at our online portal here. Materials and lunch will be provided for all attendees who have registered.   

Coming a great distance from Nashville? TEA reserves hotel rooms for the Friday night prior to the academy. These rooms are below market rate for Nashville and are subsidized by the association. Availability for these rooms is limited. Requests for rooms are made through the sign-up portal.
