The TEA Advocacy Boot Camp is a great day event for members to sharpen their advocacy skills. There are two all-day tracks to choose from: PECCA Conferencing or Racial and Social Justice. Members can choose the one track that most interests them. The event is free to all members, and lunch is included!

Early career educators (in the profession for 5yrs or less) are invited to attend TEA's New Teacher Retreat. Earn six professional development points while strengthening your practice to enhance your success as a teacher. The Retreat will include sessions on best practices, classroom management, professionalism and how to avoid potential legal pitfalls in your classroom. The weekend will also include plenty of time to have fun and connect with other early career educators from across the state.

Who: 

The New Teacher Retreat is open to all early career educators statewide who have been in the profession for five years or less.

Natchez Trace State Park

When:
