Hawkins County Education Association

The mission of the Hawkins County Education Association (HCEA) is to promote, advance and protect public education, the education profession, and the rights and interests of our members.

HCEA Building Representatives:

To all HCEA members and potential members,

Hawkins County Education Association meets on the first Tuesday of every month. We are looking to find some folks who are willing to attend meetings as representatives of your school. If you are interested, we will be holding our meetings 4:00 p.m. on the first Tuesday of each month when the 2019-2020 school year begins. Meetings will be held at Rogersville Middle School in Quinn Kersey's classroom. Come join us and hear what's new from Nashville and Central Office concerning education. If you are interested and unable to attend, contact  David Meade or Quinn Kersey. Hope to see you there! Please pass along this information to anyone who might be interested in becoming a member.

Denim for Scholars:  Our Denim Days for the 2020-2021 school year:

                                     October 9, 2020

Thank you for your continued support.

Collaborative Conferencing:

The Hawkins County School Board has agreed to collaborate with the Hawkins County Education Association which is representing the interest of the teachers. Our next Collaboration Team meeting will be announced soon.  We are continuing to work on additional Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs). Hope to see as many members as possible to show support for your Collaborating Team!
