The duties of the Membership Committee are to:
- Review progress of current year’s membership campaign and recommend strategies for recruitment and membership recognition and incentive programs
- Recommend organizing strategies and opportunities for local leaders to increase and maintain market share and engage members in Association activities, with particular attention to recruiting early career educators, education support professionals, career and technical education instructors, administrators, and higher education faculty
- Assist in identifying special membership problem areas and recommend possible solutions
- Review evaluations from AR retreats and offer suggestions on ways to continue meeting local leaders’ needs through the retreats
- Review the Rising Star Program and offer suggestions for improvements/future implementation
